BW900 Demonstration

The following link will bring you to an AVI file created on 12/16/07 documenting a WordPad document created using Dragon NaturallySpeaking and a Sennheiser BW900 bluetooth microphone. The demonstration is intended to give the viewer a sense of the sound arising from this microphone and also the resulting accuracy. The file is a bit big (34.1 MB) and takes a 30-45 seconds to download with a high speed connection, so please be patient.

1. The text was dictated spontaneously (not practiced or read)
2. The user profile was about 5 days old
3. Hardware and software:

• Computer: Apple Macbook Pro, with Intel core 2 duo processor, 2.4 GHz running with Boot Camp and Windows XP Professional
• BW900 set-up: Y-cable from GN Netcom SeleCT switch connecting from modular phone jack on base of BW900 to micropophone input jack on sound adapter
• Sound Conversion: Andrea USB sound adapter
  
• Software: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Medical Solutions using cardiology vocabulary. Screen capture done with TechSmith SNAGIT v 8.2.3
