Imported Silicon iPad Cases: We searched far and wide for these cases and consider them to be the best silicon cases for protecting your iPad. They are a bit more substantial than other cases we have evaluated (a bit thicker), and have access points along the sides for everything you need (speakers, docking port, audio jack, microphone, power button, sound volume controls, etc.). As a bonus, since we import these from China at a very fair price, we are able to offer these cases at a very reasonable price.

Comments: this is our favorite silicon gel case on the basis of it's firmness and fit. Out of the bag it has a slight odor of silicon which will wear off after a couple of days and which will disappear almost immediately if you wash it in soapy water.

iLuv Silicon iPad Cases: These cases are designed in the USA and cover the sides and back of your iPad (the view below shows only the back. They allow a firm grip of your device and lesson the tendency to leave fingerprints on your iPad. Compared with our imported silicon cases shown on this page, they are a bit thinner and cover a bit less of the front of the iPad (they don't wrap around quite as far).

Comments: These silicon cases are a bit thinner and lighter than the imported cases also shown on this site. We also believe the fit is a bit looser. The image above, provided by iLuv, shows only the back of the case. The front looks much like the image of the imported case above, but the portion wrapping around the front is slightly thinner (covers less of the front of the iPad).

iLuv Leather iPad Case:

This is a significantly less expensive leather case for the iPad. It provides excellent protection around all sides of the iPad, leaves access to all needed docks, jacks, etc. and at an affordable price.

Comments: Compared with the Piel Frama leather case, this case is considerably less ... luxurious? Honestly, the material doesn't feel like real leather but we take it on faith that from the manufacturer that it is. The material is considerably more firm than that used in the Piel Frama cases, and probably less likely to ever tear. The case is kept closed using a strap that extends around from the back and attaches with velcro to the front. Once opened, this same strap can be used to hold the case in the two upright positions shown in the pictures above. It has all the appropriate openings for access points to your iPad. All in all, this case provides excellent protection for your iPad at a very affordable price.
