Comments: This microphone is the first high quality microphone designed for use with both a wired telephone and your personal computer (either for use with VOiP or other PC uses such as speech recognition software). It is not designed for use with a wireless home telephone and does not include any dialing mechanism, so it must be used in conjunction with your existing phone. Toggling back and forth between wired telephone use and pc use requires the simple push of a button. How do we compare this with the Sennheiser BW900 and Plantronics CS55? The accuracy is every bit as good as the BW900, perhaps slightly better than the Plantronics CS55. The noise cancellation properties are slightly less. In our testing, we have had no problems using this microphone while listening to a television in the same room or with a radio playing quietly. I doubt this microphone would stand the test of loud music or a busy hospital ward, though. When using this microphone we recommend you create a new user, although this is not 100% essential. On Windows XP, the device will show up as "GN 9350". We haven't tested it yet with Windows Vista. One final note: the earhook and neckband mounting are a bit flimsy - the traditional headband mounting method is the most stable.

GN 1000 Headset Lifter for the Jabra 9350
This is a perfect accessory for the GN 1000 if you use it frequently and don't want to be troubled with lifting up the headset when placing or answering a call. It is specifically intended for use with the 9350, is powered by the 9350 and comes with all needed parts.
Comments: Unlike the headset lifters designed for use with the Sennheiser BW900 and Plantronics wireless microphones, this lifter is activated and lifts the receiver only when the base unit is connecting with the phone. It is not activated when you are using the wireless headset unit with your PC. With the other set-ups, the associated lifter is activated whenever an active connection is made between the headset and base - an annoying tendency when using the the headset with your pc.
